Oh ya. I live in Seattle
Thought it may be good to post a little note about where I live.

Its turning summer here. Finally!

Red tumbling blocks
Here is another project made from clothes into a quilt top waiting for the image to be appliquéd on top.

Absorb Mag premier Edition

Got my copy of Perceptions…that I am in…in that I am…
Or however that is said grammatically correct.
Perceptions Mag out of Mt. Hood College in Portland Or put out a call to to submissions for their publication.
so I did.
that was in Sept of ’09
Last week I received my contributers copy.

QR code Blazer
My last trial with the Qr codes was with digitized embroidery.
Now I wanted to make something a little more hands on and in a bit larger of a scale.
so I put a code on the back of my sports jacket.

It doesn’t read either from the misalignment in my placement this time or the contrast isn’t enough.
Either way I look pretty BA.

Working on my NY show for October.
Check out some of the progress images for the up coming show:

My first attempt at using the clothes, took the form of making squares out of shirts.
This yielded a starting point, but was less successful than I wanted.

The next step was using the entire clothing pieces to create a quilt top on which I planned to put the imagery that was going to be used for the show.
